These national figures are the best we could locate. They are three years old.
The more orthodox way to
determine the shortfall
would be bottom up: to
ask each district what
they need to retain all
teachers and staff and
keep all buildings open.
That would take
resources we do not
possess. And it would take
time schools, teachers
and students definitely do
not have. Suppose we are
off by 100% and the real
figure is either $15 billion
or $60 billion. So? What if
a state, county or district
prefers not to implement
solar? No problem - for
everyone else.
