There are currently two competition
routines in Chen Family style Tai Chi
Chuan. Currently, there are no plans to teach either of them
as part of the daily curriculum. If there is interest one or
both routines would likely be taught as weekend seminars. I
believe the 56 Movement form was choreographed by Professor
Kan Gui Xiang. The 42 Movement form combines moves from Chen,
Yang, Sun and Wu styles and was created by the Chinese Sports
Committee headed by Professor Li Deyin in 1989.
