Garments: August 25, 2016 (continued)
Part of the challenge of autism is to raise awareness of the people with
it that there are other human beings in the world. In particular, it is
absolutely required of students to be attentive to other people around
them when weapons are in use. We would also like to have students
able to perform or exhibit as a group. One age-old tactic is to get
everyone to wear similar clothes. So we have hooded sweatshirts,
long-sleeved shirts and t-shirts each in the three dramatic colors of
black, gray and white (so nine combinations). These would be used
during most daily classes. If classes in Bagua Zhang or Xing Yi Chuan
are taught we would likely use dark blue and light blue colored shirts.
