Weapons - Sai  (continued)

I am not convinced that a circular cross-section for the sai's handle is correct design.  You need to know at some level

- either your hand or your brain - that the sai is correctly positioned. Stopping a descending edged weapon is dicey at

the best of times, and holding the sai with its axis parallel to the attacker's blade is not going to be the best of times.
