Thirteen students originally registered for this badge linked to the Advanced Placement in Geology standardized examination. One student dropped the course, and ten of the remaining twelve were awarded badges by the teacher. There were three questions on the AP test, and the students did very well.

Parents and prospective students can access not only suggested prerequisite knowledge (badges the student should have before taking this course) but can also assess the chances of individual success by looking at the anonymous attonomic (very low level) background of previous never-named students. That allows a viewer to discern whether this teacher and this material will be the best choice for the particular student at this time.
