Sadly, given California's
agricultural prowess, doctors
do not grow on trees.

What we are aiming for is a classroom ratio of 10:1 except for gifted, dropouts (either returning or in
danger of) and special needs, where we are aiming for 8:1, 8:1 and 4:1. Administrator and staffing
levels are about what they are today. We are indifferent between public schools, private schools,
charter schools, teacher-led schools and teacher-owned schools. Even if Riverside County had the
money, where could 30,000 teachers be found? And where could classrooms be found for them to teach
in? Nowhere. There's no rabbit in that hat. But we never said 'physical classrooms' and we used the
word 'educators' as distinct from certificated teachers.
