Here follows an adjusted daily curriculum to accommodate a student (in this case with heart
valve challenges so that he tires easily and does not always get enough oxygen or glucose to
limbs. The overall idea is to try twenty minute segments instead of thirty minute segments.
How to support a twenty minute pulse during a class built for 30 minutes will take some thought.
/1/ Arrival - join the other students. If needed, we will test for COVID-19. Masks checked and hands
rinsed with sanitizer after biometric signin. rinsed with sanitizer after biometric signin.
/2/ usually change shoes and possibly socks and shirts. We will have to watch putting on shoes  
/3/ a tea of choice (or water) and a snack of 13 Treasures porridge is optional
/4/ a gong sounds for formal bows and salutes to begin the class
/5/ WuJi seated meditation
/6/ WuJi standing meditation - probably the same so far as everyone else is doing
/7/ Chen Family warm-up exercises - if the class is doing 6 repetitions the special student will do 4
/8/ Chen family style Tai Chi Chuan - 18 movements set - done twice. First challenge
/9/ Eight Brocades (Ba Duan Jin) Qigong exercises - we may drop out or or two exercises or decrease
some repetitions. This will require some thought and probably some experimentation.
/10/ short break for tea or water - this means stealing some time from 8 Brocades and from Ball
/11/ Tai Chi ball exercises - as noted above less exercises or less repetitions or both
/12/ Chen family style Tai Chi Chuan Double batons set
/13/ Yi Jin Jing (Tendon washing) Qigong exercises  - probably less repetitions to start Lao Jia early
/14/ Chen family style Tai Chi Chuan - Lao Jia (Old Frame 1) - this will be a challenge
/15/ short break for tea or water - perhaps even before Lao Jia
/16/ Tai Chi ruler exercises - probably less repetitions
/17/ grip ring exercises  - probably less repetitions
/18/ Chen family style Tai Chi Chuan - single saber set
/19/ Chen family style Tai Chi Chuan - single sword set
/20/ a tea of choice (or water) and a snack of 13 Treasures porridge 
/20/ Wu Qin Xi (Five Animals) Qigong exercises  - probably less repetitions
/21/ Chen family style Tai Chi Chuan - Xin Jia (New Frame 1) - started earlier than the class
/22/ short break for tea or water
/23/ Tai Chi bang exercises - probably less repetitions
/24/ Chen family style Tai Chi Chuan - staff set
/25/ Chen family style Tai Chi Chuan - spear set
/26/ short break for tea or water
/27/ Da Wu Qigong exercises - probably less repetitions
/28/ Taiji Yangsheng Zhang Qigong exercises - probably less repetitions
/29/ Tai Chi bar exercises with porcupine ball - probably less repetitions
/30/ Chen Family traditional Silk Reeling Exercises - probably less repetitions
/31/ formal bows and salutes between the students and the teacher or teachers. Gong sounds
/32/ a tea of choice (or water) and a snack of 13 Treasures porridge is optional
/33/ change shoes, socks and shirt.
/34/ biometric signout. hands rinsed with sanitizer. Scores and homework sent to parents and others.
/35/ Chen family style Tai Chi Chuan fork, Kwan dao, lau gar pole, double sabers and double
swords are all pretty vigorous sets - we will experiment.
/36/ Small Frame can likely be added safely. Cannon Fist and New Frame 2 are vigorous.
/37/ No objections yet to some or all of Liu Zi Jue (Six Sounds), Shi Er Duan Jin, Mawangdui Daoyin
Shu and Daoyin Yangsheng Gong Shi Er Fa Qigong exercises.
/38/ Perhaps Baoding balls and Wing Chun rings can be done on breaks
/39/ No plans to add bent bang or long bang exercises at this time
