/A/ General Requirements
/1/ A clearly stated objective - Mt. Whitney summit - 14,505 feet in elevation and a return.
/2/ personnel - me
/3/ time-frame - the permit was for June 20th, so technically midnight to midnight.
It is unlikely rangers would object were I late in returning.
However, the temperature and light were factors to be weighed
