Thermometers |
|
We wanted handheld, cordless (= using rechargeable batteries)
thermometers using infrared light but not needing |
actual contact. It is tedious transcribing the readings so some
ability to capture the data is necessary as we must |
associate the temperature and date/time with a student. We also
associate the device identifier of the individual |
thermometer as well as the user identifier of the person taking
the measurement. While we do not expect to measure |
the temperature of any infants the thermometers shown here can
measure temperatures on the forehead, ear or body. |
About $20 - the features necessary for home use might be
different from what we think is important. We will see |
if two devices are enough for us and also whether two
measurements (at entry and exit) are sufficient. |
