Thermometers
thermometers
We wanted handheld, cordless (= using rechargeable batteries) thermometers using infrared light but not needing
actual contact. It is tedious transcribing the readings so some ability to capture the data is necessary as we must
associate the temperature and date/time with a student. We also associate the device identifier of the individual
thermometer as well as the user identifier of the person taking the measurement. While we do not expect to measure
the temperature of any infants the thermometers shown here can measure temperatures on the forehead, ear or body.
About $20 - the features necessary for home use might be different from what we think is important. We will see
if two devices are enough for us and also whether two measurements (at entry and exit) are sufficient.
