Shaolin style daggers . A third is in the sash at the center of
the back. With a blade length of 40 inches or more the Miao Dao
is significantly longer than most jians. With a handle length of
15 inches it is comparable to the Big Saber of Bagua in overall
length. At three points in the first Wansheng style Miao Dao set
knives are thrown. As if an opponent did not have enough
worries. We are also working on the second Wansheng set as well
as sets from Piqua and Cloud Demon styles. Due to circumstances
apparently beyond Fedex's control material that was supposed to
be delivered Saturday (on the truck at 7 AM) was not. Per Fedex
Home Delivery standards they rescheduled it for Tuesday. Just to
see if anyone was paying attention it was delivered Monday at
3:20. To Fedex's credit, the notification email arrived. After a
bracing BART ride and by the time the camera was recharged the
sun had set, so white silks seemed like the best choice in the
available light. We'll reshoot shortly to see how the sword and
whips and thrown weapons look with red, blue and black clothing. |
