Black grabs the b pawn at move 33. After the 40th move by Black the b pawn cannot be
stopped from queening, so White is lost. Some good fighting chess. Fortunately, in chess
no one dies. Unfortunately, all chess games end - usually on the day they were started.
Unless there is some innovation or brilliancy, there's a fair chance only the two players
will analyze the game in depth. Chess isn't followed that avidly in Gabon or Mozambique,
but detailed description of an outstanding game today will race across the internet.
We bid a temporary but fond farewell to the precision of the sport of kings, and plunge
into the inaccuracies of economics.
